Dissapointment

Yesterday we were lucky enough to see Messi play again, but unfortunately, Barça lost 2-1 to Cádiz, moving farther away from the title race. Messi played a great game, with 2 key passes, 5 shots on goal (10 in total), 1 big chance created, 9 dribbles, 12 duels won, 1 cross, and 67 passes completed, in addition to assisting Alcala's own goal. He was by far the best player in Barcelona and also the best player of the match. Another thing to note is how they defended his free-kicks, a treatment that only he receives in those situations.

3 big chances were wasted, and despite dominating the entire match, they lost anyway because of conceding easy goals. Barça was the deserved winner, but it did not happen. Now we can only wait for them to win against Juve next week, which will be a difficult task. Anyway, Messi is still the best player in La Liga, despite what some say, as it can be seen here:

It is extraordinary that despite not being in his best form, and his team-mates wasting the chances he's provided (xA 2.56, 0 assists), he is still the best in the league (and with some distance for some). Without a doubt, he is still one of, if not the best player in the world, even though the team does not play very well.

Hopefully the team gets back into shape, and hopefully Leo plays even better.
