Messi-less Barcelona in the Supercopa final!

Because of some problems that Messi had in the Granada game, he wasn't able to play against Real Sociedad for the Supercopa de España semi-final, but nevertheless, although it was hard-fought, it would be Barcelona who qualified via a penalty shootout. The final will be played in 3 days against either Athletic Bilbao or Real Madrid.

De Jong turned into the hero when he scored Barcelona's first goal of the game in the first half with an impressive header, but he later became the villain as he gave away a penalty due to a handball, a chance Oyarzabal didn't put to waste. It had to come to the penalty shootout, where ter-Stegen saved two penalties and Puig scored the winning one, hopefully sending a message to Koeman.

With all eyes on the final, Barça look to win their first trophy this season, and hopefully Messi plays in that final as well. That was all, thanks for reading!
