#RunForTheOceans

Yesterday, Messi posted on his Instagram account a very important message. He's presented Adidas' Run For The Oceans campaign, the 4th year of the movement. His main message is about plastic waste, and it has an interesting proposal of "For every kilometer you run that's tracked in the app, Adidas and Parley will clean up the equivalent weight of 10 plastic bottles, up to 500,000 pounds from beaches and islands.".

Specifically, he said:

#RunForTheOceans is back and bigger than ever!

This is our opportunity to bring together our love for running and our love for our oceans, hit the streets to help make a difference and help End Plastic Waste.

For every kilometeryou run that's tracked in the app, adidas and Parley will clean up the equivalent weight of 10 plastic bottles, up to 500,000 pounds from beaches and islands.

Download the adidas Running app and sign up for the challenge, it’s us vs Plastic Waste!

Hopefully, this has a big impact and raises awareness of the situation to many people around the world. I hope you liked this entry, and as always, I'll see you in the next blog.
