Keeping consistency in the league

Barcelona earned another 3 points yesterday thanks to De Jong and, more importantly, Puig. This game also ended Messi's suspension and he'll be able to play against Rayo Vallecano in the Copa del Rey Round of 16.

An incredibly dominating Barcelona won yet another game against relegation side Elche, and they continue their unbeaten streak dating back to their win against Levante over a month ago. Unfortunately, they're still third behind Real Madrid, who also has a long-standing unbeaten streak dating back to their win against Sevilla at the beginning of December, but they can still take their place if they remain consistent.

Aside from the 2 big chances missed, the most important aspect was Puig's goal with very little playtime (subbed in at the 87th minute and scored in the 89th). This is his first goal with the senior team, and hopefully, Koeman can realize his potential before it's too late.
